Reed is an accomplished author
of books on personal finance and the law.
Mary writes
as well as ghost writes books and magazine articles on consumer
and small business legal and financial matters. She has co-authored
Good Advice for a Bad Economy, The Everyday Law Kit
for Dummies and Divorce for Dummies, and she has
ghost-written ten other books. |

Mary has written for Good Housekeeping Magazine, Home
Office and Small Business Computing Magazines,
and for Hispanic Business.
Mary’s
public relations clients include book publishers, attorneys, financial
planners, and health care professionals. Her services include developing
and implementing multi-phased public relations plans, branding/positioning,
press kit development, and national and local media campaigns.
Prior
to establishing MR-PR, Mary was vice president
of marketing for a national
market research firm, director of marketing for a women’s health organization,
and public relations manager for Texas Monthly Magazine and Texas Monthly
Press. She also worked as a legislative aide for an Austin, Texas city
council member and as a management consultant for Booz, Allen and Hamilton
in Washington, D.C. and for Abt Associates in Cambridge, MA.
Mary has
a Masters in Business from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts
degree from Trinity College in Washington, D.C. |
